Mária Fajd-Kerner began her musical studies in Pécs. He obtained her Master of Honours Flutist degree in 2015 and her Honours Artist-Teacher degree in 2016 at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. She graduated with distinction from the soloist training at the Hochshule für Musik in Detmold. She is currently a student at the Doctoral School of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. She has won prizes in numerous national and international competitions. She is an active participant in master classes and regularly gives solo concerts. From 2014 to 2017 she was flute player I of the Budapest Operetta Theatre and from 2017 to 2019 solo flute of the Bergische Symphoniker in Germany. In addition, she participated in the work of several prestigious symphony orchestras in Hungary. From 2013 to 2014 she was a teacher at the György Solti Music School, from 2015 to 2017 at the Pécs Art High School and Vocational Secondary School, and from 2018 to 2019 at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pécs. Since September 2020 she has been teaching flute at Széchenyi István University in Győr. From December 2021 she has been flute I of the Danubia Orchestra and from August 2022 flute I of the MÁV Symphony Orchestra.
